About me

Emily graduated from the University of Southampton with First Class Honours in Podiatry and is currently studying for a Masters Degree in Lower Limb Musculoskeletal Studies.

As a specialist in Sports Podiatry and Biomechanics she has a wealth of experience treating patients with lower limb injuries and pain in the legs, feet and ankles.

Emily also provides consultancy to the Ministry of Defence and works in association with several specialist running stores, amateur running clubs and professional sports teams, providing advice and podiatry treatment for a range of lower limb conditions.

Prior to opening Active Step Podiatry Emily worked within the NHS, Physiotherapy led private clinical settings. She also worked as a Footwear Consultant within a specialist running store and can provide patients with an in-depth knowledge of sports footwear.

Emily is also qualified in Prescription Only Medicines for a range of foot conditions and can perform Nail Surgery procedures under Local Anaesthetic.
