About me

Dr Langman is an HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist with more than twenty years experience of supporting children and adults through a wide range of psychological difficulties in order to flourish and achieve optimal health.

She has supported teams across a variety of community and inpatient settings, in the UK and USA; within the NHS, private and voluntary sectors and is accredited in a number of therapeutic approaches.

By drawing on a range of psychological models (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT), Compassion-focused therapy (CFT), Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Dr Langman can tailor a bespoke therapy for the individual, couple or family who are experiencing distress and who wish to live a bigger life.

Dr Langman is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, where she currently serves as Chair Elect for the South West Branch. She is keen to demystify psychology and promotes psychological understanding through public engagement events.
