About me

Marc

Marc Cavanna is a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist who joined CBT Anglia in 2010. �Marc completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy at The Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College London. Marc also holds an Advanced Diploma and Postgraduate Certificate in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from the University of Derby and the University of Oxford respectively. Marc currently works from both our Chelmsford and Colchester locations.

Marc also works for the NHS as part of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapy team delivering High Intensity individual CBT mainly to clients with depression and anxiety disorders. Marc previously worked for the charity Anxiety UK and The Priory Hospital. Marc has experience of working with a variety of client groups and in a range of clinical settings and has over 10 years experience working with people with mental health difficulties. Marc has experience working with both adults and adolescents. His special interest areas are obsessive compulsive disorder, health anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and mood disorders.
