I am a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast surgeon and Clinical Lead for breast surgery at the James Paget Hospital in Great Yarmouth.
After undertaking a PhD in Cancer Studies at the University of Birmingham in 2005, I undertook specialist training in the East of England, and completed a prestigious National Oncoplastic Fellowship during which I gained experience in breast reconstruction.
I am the Course Director for UK and International Masters degree courses in oncoplastic and aesthetic breast surgery, based at the University of East Anglia.I work closely with breast surgery colleagues in India and teach workshops there to train local surgeons in oncoplastic techniques.
I am co-Chair of the East of England Alliance Breast Cancer Network, and a national committee member for Aesthetic Breast Surgery at the Association of Breast Surgery.

Educational awards for our UEA Masters course and HEE educational programmes include a Gold e-learning award (2013), and Silver e-learning award (2017)
Author of several book chapters and papers in oncoplastic breast surgery, and co-author of the Oxford Handbook of Breast Surgery.
