I graduated with distinction from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’s School of Medicine in 1999, and trained in Cardiology in London and the South East. I did research into the use of echocardiography to assess the effect of cardiac pacing and was awarded a research doctorate by Kings College London. I am accredited by the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Device therapy. I am a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and the Royal College of Physicians.
My practice covers adult cardiology – in particular the diagnosis and treatment of patients with palpitations, faints, breathlessness, heart murmurs and chest pain. I also see patients with inherited cardiac conditions and athletes with rhythm problems. I have a subspecialty interest in the treatment of heart rhythm disorders, valve disease and the effects of chemotherapy on the heart.
