About me

I am a Consultant Ophthalmic, Oculoplastic & Orbital Surgeon now in private practice, having resigned from my NHS post in August 2014.

My clinical work is entirely of a subspecialist nature for which I have a national & international reputation. I receive referrals of patients with oculoplastic, orbital disorders and lacrimal disorders from all over the U.K. and from abroad. In addition to my reconstructive surgery and surgery to manage a variety of pathological conditions, I also undertake periocular cosmetic surgery, and I regularly manage complications of cosmetic eyelid surgery undertaken by surgeons in other specialties.

Areas of interest

Eyelid surgery; cosmetic eyelid surgery; blepharoplasty; brow lift surgery; eyelid reconstruction surgery; blepharoptosis surgery; socket reconstructive surgery; watery eye surgery; eyelid tumour surgery; eyelid surgery for facial palsy patients; ectropion surgery; entropion surgery; orbital fracture surgery; thyroid eye disease surgery; orbital decompression surgery; endoscopic DCR; Lester Jones tube surgery; orbital surgery; chalazion; ptosis; eyelid lesions; removal of facial lumps and bumps
