About me

I am a Consultant Neurologist and my NHS work is spent at Walton Centre NHS Trust and Whiston and St Helens hospital .

I qualified in medicine in 2004 and trained in general medicine at North west England prior to specialising in neurology.

I completed my specialist neurology training at Greater Manchester Neuroscience Centre (GMNC), developing additional special interests in movement disorders including Parkinson’s disease, atypical parkinsonian disorders , tremors and dystonia's . As a consultant Neurologist at The Walton Centre I provide advanced treatment for these patients including Deep Brain stimulation, botulinum toxin and apomorphine injections.

I also have clinical interest in headaches and migraines and provide a wide range of treatments including occipital nerve blocks, multiple cranial nerve blocks, Cranial botulinum toxin (Botox) injections.

I manage a wide variety of General Neurological conditions and symptoms including Dizziness and Vertigo, Fits, Faints, Funny turns, Blackouts, Pins and needles, numbness, tingly hands and legs, Muscle wasting, Limb Weakness, Walking problems/clumsiness, Blurred vision and other visual symptoms, Unexplained pain and fatigue, Sleep problems, Poor memory/concentration, Decreased alertness, Slurred speech and word finding difficulty, Bowel and bladder symptoms, Swallowing problems, Post-concussion syndrome, Facial Spasm, Tremor, Jerks and twitching, Restless Leg Syndrome
