Karen is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist (qualified 2005) and Consultant Neuropsychologist (qualified 2012) . She is Chartered with the British Psychological Society and is a Registered Practitioner with the Health and Care Professions Council. She is also a Full Member of the Division of Neuropsychology, on the specialist register of Clinical Neuropsychologists and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society.
Karen is also a fully qualified cognitive analytic therapy (CAT) practitioner and registered with ACAT (qualified 2017).
Karen has written 500+ psychological and neuropsychological assessment reports in both criminal and civil proceedings; she has extensive experience of giving evidence in both the criminal and civil courts.
She has been employed as an expert witness since 2007 specialising in the assessment of Trauma, Neurological disorders, Capacity and Complex Neuropsychological presentations including the impact of cognitive impairments on offending behaviours and fitness to plead.
