About me

Dr Yates has worked for more than 10 years as a Clinical Psychologist within busy NHS services. Much of this time has been spent treating and supporting adults who are experiencing psychological difficulties such as depression and anxiety that are interfering with their lives and making it difficult to function day to day.

Having held positions as Principal Clinical Psychologist within Pain Management, Rheumatology and Weight Management services Dr Yates has particular experience supporting people who are adjusting to living with long term health conditions and providing psychological treatment for people who have complex medical or health related issues. This has given her insight into the multiple challenges that people can face and recognition of the importance of restoring psychological well-being to enable people to live life in a way that is valued and meaningful.
