Overview

About me

I have been working as a Counsellor since 1997 and have worked in the voluntary, public and private sector.
I work with all ages of clients - ages 8 - 80 and have a good understanding and awareness of the cultural, social and economic diversity within the community. I also have great understanding in issues that young people face and their digital complex world

I have provided group work for issues, awareness and understanding around anxiety, anger, body image, addictions and healthy relationships to name but a few.

Sessions are confidential and I am also DBS checked which mean I can reassure parents and carers that I am safe and appropriate to work with all age ranges.

My rooms are conveniently accessible from most areas in London and Essex including Central London, City, Liverpool Street, East London, Ilford, Brentwood, Hornchurch, Romford, Dagenham, Collier Row and Upminster by public transport or road.

I work intergratively which means I have studied a variety of models of counselling and will assess each client to a style of therapy that is suitable for their issue.

I am aware that the counselling sessions are time limited and therefore very precious so I may ask you to complete forms and worksheets in between session to extend our work. If this would seem difficult or worry you, please talk to me and we can work away around this.

I am flexible with session times and evening and weekends are also available to suit clients that have a 24/7 lifestyle.
