About me

My name is Marie Neill and I have been a Counsellor/Psychotherapist for more than 10 years. I am accredited with the BACP.

I have extensive experience working with Bereavement and loss and have been a volunteer with Cruse Bereavement Care, (Bangor) for 12 years.

TRAUMA and PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder): If you have experienced a traumatic incident such as an accident, an assault, near death experience, natural disaster or been involved in or witnessed a tragedy, you may be experiencing some of the following : panic attacks, nightmares, flashbacks and avoidance behaviours. These traumas can feel so overwhelming that the body can continue to be involuntarily triggered for many years after the actual event

The Rewind Technique can bring to an end this continual recall and remove the need for avoidance behaviours in a very short number of sessions.

I was trained by Dr. David C. Muss, Director of the PTSD Unit at BMI Birmingham Hospital, UK and founder of the International Association for Rewind Trauma Therapy. ( IARTT ).

I also work for Carecall (a Northern Ireland Employee Assistance Programme) as well as others nationally based.

I am the Counsellor for students based at South-East Regional College, Bangor.
