About me

I have more than 20 years' experience in the field of adult mental health, having worked for the NHS in a range of Adult Mental Health Services including Primary and Secondary healthcare. For the last 12 years of my career within the NHS I was appointed to the post of Consultant Counselling Psychologist in the field of Substance Misuse with a special interest in Dual Diagnosis.

In my work with clients I use an integrative psychologiocal approach, tailoring interventions to the needs of individual clients.

Having retired from the NHS, I now run a small private practice working with adult clients using an integrative approach for a range of presenting psychological issues including Anxiety, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (including childhood trauma); Substance Misuse and Relationship Counselling.
