About me

I have worked with people experiencing emotional difficulties or distress for over 20 years. I work with children, young people and adults.
I offer safe, professional, friendly and confidential service for people who are experiencing distress or struggling to move on with their lives in some way. This might include anxiety, low mood, and lack of confidence or the after effects of distressing experiences or trauma.
You may have developed ways of coping or particular behaviours that no longer seem to help. You may have got into habits of thinking about yourself negatively or believe yourself to be flawed in some way.
You may have experienced or witnessed distressing events or traumas that you continue to think about, or try to avoid thinking about but can’t. You may have had difficult childhood experiences or relationships that continue to affect you.
It is possible that you are experiencing unpleasant physical or bodily sensations, think negatively about yourself or have got into behaving in ways that do not seem to help or make the problem worse. Whatever symptoms are experienced, it is likely you will want to feel emotionally relieved or better.
