About me
Tania Tillett is a Consultant Medical Oncologist working at the Royal United Hospitals (RUH) Bath, specialising in melanoma, cancer of unknown primary (CUP) and hepatobilary malignancies. Tania undertook medical school training at Bristol University before graduating with Honours and moving onto her specialist Oncology training in the Severn Deanery.
She received a Masters from the National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI London) during this time with research into the use of chemotherapy for patients with brain metastases. Tania was appointed as a consultant in oncology at Royal United Hospitals Bath in 2014. She is active in clinical research, being principal investigator on many trials.
She is also collaborating with the University of Bath as a co-investigator on translational melanoma research. Her particularly interests are immunotherapy and she leads on immunotherapy and CUP at the RUH.
She is also the South West and Gloucestershire Group CUP chair. She has won the RUH Customer Care Award for her communication skills and patient care.
