About me
I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2002.
I undertook my higher surgical training on the Birmingham Orthopaedic Training Program, which is based at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital
I spent one year on a specialist fellowship at the North West Pelvic and Acetabular Service and the Centre for Hip Surgery at Wrightington Hospital, a designated centre of excellence for orthopaedic surgery.
My elective clinical interests include primary and revision arthroplasty of the hip, knee arthroplasty and arthroscopic surgery of the knee. My subspecialist interest is in pelvic and acetabular reconstruction and the management of periprosthetic fractures.
I have visited centres in Los Angeles and Toronto to further develop my expertise in complex disorders of the hip and pelvis.
Away from work I enjoy spending time with my wife Mary, daughter Chloe and son Luke.
