About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 12 years' experience of working in the NHS. I have worked in a variety of different services, settings and areas of clinical interest. For 7 years I have worked in physical health services, particularly within the fields of oncology & palliative care. Presently and for the past 18 months, I now work in acute / Urgent Care mental health services.

I believe that mental, emotional and physical health are interrelated and can never be fully separated: I treat the individual as a whole. I am interested in the long-term, effective management - and prevention - of physical and mental health conditions

I have a strong interest in a number of different therapies, particularly Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (or ACT: see I can work within a particular therapeutic mode or integratively, depending on clinical need and individual preferences.
