Mr El-Gizawy completed his Specialist Registrar training in the West Midlands Deanery. He received his training in advanced laparoscopic surgery in the University Hospital of North Staffordshire and Birmingham Women’s Hospital, as well as completed a postgraduate diploma in advanced gynaecological endoscopy in Surrey University. He is also formally trained in robotic surgery.
He is currently a Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrican at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.
Mr El-Gizawy has extensive experience managing general gynaecology cases, as well as disorders of menstruation and female hormones. He has a keen interest in managing pelvic pain and endometriosis and is proficient in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques. He is an accredited endometriosis surgeon with the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy.
