About us

Qualifying as a Occupational Therapist over 24 years ago, I have worked within multiple healthcare environments including the NHS, private and charitable sectors.
I currently work as a Community Occupational Therapist for the NHS within rehabilitation and long term conditions. Assessing and prescribing treatment, equipment and adaptations to maintain and improve function and quality of life.
Prior to my current role I was an Advanced Practitioner within Palliative Care and Oncology within Central and West Lancashire.Assessing and treating patients with life limiting conditions including Dementia.
My private work includes the above services, assessment for Assistive technology for People with Alzheimer's and Dementia plus treating fatigue. Fatigue could be as a direct result of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME or as a symptom of another diagnosis like Fibromyalgia, MS and Parkinson's.
I am can travel to assess individuals at home and can conduct fatigue management via Skype.
