About me

In the last twenty years I have worked as a Counsellor, then a Senior Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor in the NHS. Whilst working in the NHS I completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy, then `Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing' (EMDR), this approach was originally developed to treat veterans with trauma. I have now completed a MSc in EMDR and have found that EMDR is effective for treating trauma's such as RTA, Dismissal, unresolved grief and the trauma experienced in relationships.
