I offer Bupa customers standard cataract surgery on the Full Pathway package option at The Edinburgh Clinic .
This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

Dr Tatham is an ophthalmic surgeon specialising in glaucoma but with comprehensive training in ophthalmology. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and European Board of Ophthalmologists. At the 2011 European Board of Ophthalmology examinations he was awarded the prize for the highest score in Europe.
Dr Tatham completed glaucoma fellowships at two world leading centres - Moorfields Eye Hospital and Shiley Eye Center, University California, San Diego, USA.
Dr Tatham has a special interest in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and was the first to perform this procedure in Scotland – including the iStent and Xen Gel Stent.
He is an NHS Scotland Career Research Fellow, with interests including optic nerve and retinal imaging in glaucoma and evaluating the impact of eye disease on quality of life.

Dr Tatham has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and has been an invited speaker at meetings including Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, European Glaucoma Society and the International Glaucoma Association. He has been a faculty member for the World Glaucoma Congress and Chinese Ophthalmological Society.
He is a module lead for the University of Edinburgh Primary Care Ophthalmology MSc and an examiner for the European Board of Ophthalmologists.
