About me

My practice is currently full and I am not taking on new patients.

In the current situation I can help you online on skype or zoom under your Bupa policy.

Are you going through a crisis?
Do you have anger or relationship problems?
Are you feeling depressed, lonely and/or anxious?

At certain times we all experience difficulties and doubt, go through life transitions (career change, retirement, divorce, new relationship, mid-life crisis) or discover patterns in our lives that are un-supportive. Seeing a counsellor or psychotherapist can help you face these challenges and turn them into an opportunity for personal growth.

I have more than 18 years of experience working in the mental health field and 8 years in private practice. I trained in Integrative Psychotherapy and use traditional narrative style as well as dream work, sound therapy and Energy Psychology.

I offer both long term and short-term therapy.
Short-term therapy is usually 10 - 12 sessions, using a cognitive approach combined with EFT (=Tapping) and NLP techniques.

Psychotherapy tends to be longer term work on personal growth and covers broader issues such as building self esteem, increasing personal satisfaction and making life choices.

More important than the specific techniques used is the relationship between the therapist and the person seeking help. It is the most important healing factor and research shows this.

I work in an Integrative way using various styles of therapy to fit the client.
Often I use a cognitive approach combined with EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique=Tapping), NLP and visualisation. This helps you to gain insight and a better understanding of yourself whilst the techniques mentioned offer an opportunity for real transformation.
You will also learn tools you can use on your own once the sessions have finished.

I have worked and continue to work with many Men, especially in their Thirties and Forties, supporting them through crisis situations, relationship difficulties, career and life choices and questions of male identity.

My training includes a five year diploma at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in London and an MA in Transpersonal Psychotherapy at DeMontford University in Leicester (2 years).
