Mr Siddiqui qualified from St Bartholomew’s Medical School in 1999. He stayed in the London region for general surgical training then proceeded to Specialist Orthopaedic training, working at several hospitals including the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore; Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead; and the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel. He developed further sub-specialty skills and experience in all aspects of Upper Limb Surgery during three specialist fellowships; one year at the world-renowned Brisbane Hand and Upper Limb Unit in Australia and a further year at two leading upper limb specialty units in the UK - Avon Orthopaedic Centre in Bristol and University Hospital Coventry.
Mr Siddiqui is involved with four multi-centre research trials involving shoulder and elbow surgery and has published and presented his research on hand, wrist, shoulder and elbow surgery nationally and internationally.
He is also in charge of orthopaedic education at Kingston Hospital, and clinical lead for orthopaedic research and audits.

Mr Siddiqui works as an NHS consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedics at Kingston Hospital.
Mr Siddiqui has a wide variety of research interests.He is currently the Research Lead for the Orthopaedic Dept at Kingston Hospital and is involved in a number of national multi-centre trials involve ig the shoulder and elbow.
He is a USER panel reviewer for Arthritis Research UK assessing research grant proposals.
He is a peer reviewer for several high profile journals such as the Bone and Joint Journal, Open Orthopaedics Journal, and the International Journal of Rheumatology, and is also a reviewer for the BMA Book Awards.
Mr Siddiqui is married to Louise, a local GP, and has a young daughter. He enjoys photography and travelling.
Mr Siddiqui was awarded the prestigious Watanabe Travelling Fellowship, visiting several centres of surgical excellence around the UK specialising in shoulder and elbow surgery.
