About me

Roy Twyman has been treating patients with knee pain since becoming a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in 1994. His interest and expertise has grown since then and for the past 10 years this has been his exclusive area of interest.
His experience varies from young patients with cartilage and ligament injuries to older patients who require knee replacements. Many of his patients are keen Sportsmen committed to maintaining their fitness level as long as possible. Many come for second opinions or travel from around the country or abroad. Whether it is surgery or other associated specialists that is required he can confidently advise on the correct course of treatment.
He has an excellent reputation based on patient experience and independently audited results within the Elective Orthopaedic Centre and as a result is a popular trainer as part of the faculty at various conferences across the country.
