About me

I am a qualified counsellor and an accredited member of the BACP. I have been working as a counsellor since 2005, fully qualifying in 2007. The approaches I use are Person-Centred counselling, C.B.T. and Art Therapy.

I have experience working face to face with clients, as well as telephone and face time video counselling. I am experienced in working with Groups as a facilitator, counsellor and supervisor.

I have facilitated support groups within the NHS for patients and their families diagnosed with a serious or terminal illness. Within the group setting, I have carried out art therapy, relaxation techniques and relaxation and visualisation narratives.

I have also worked in a Hospital Maternity Unit counselling patients who were experiencing difficult pregnancies or had experienced a loss of a full term baby or a late termination or miscarriage.

I am also experienced in Trauma Counselling.
