I was appointed a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine in 1996.
I have been heavily involved in postgraduate training and was previously Chair of the Specialist Advisory Committee and the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine.
Areas of interest
Exercise / sports related injuries in all age groups with particular interest in overuse injuries to the hip and groin, tendinopathies, knee, ankle and soft tissue shoulder problems. Assessment, investigation and rehabiliatation of musculoskeletal injury and pain. Access to full range of imaging techniques - X-RAY / MRI and CT Scans etc. Therapeutic injections performed.
