Mr. Mohan Kumar is a consultant Gynaecologist with special interest in complex gynaecological surgery and oncology at Good Hope Hospital, Heart of England NHS Trust. He completed specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in West Midlands in 2011. His main clinical interest is in advanced laparoscopic (key hole) surgery and has completed training in renowned centres in the UK and overseas.
He specialises in total laparoscopic (key hole) hysterectomy that promotes enhanced recovery, early discharge from the hospital (within 24hrs) and early return to work with very high levels of patient satisfaction. He also specialises in laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis and pelvic pain.
He has established specialist pelvic pain and endometriosis clinic at Good Hope Hospital. He has also audited the clinic performances and obtained excellent patient satisfaction results.
He is an expert in various general gynaecological conditions including ovarian cysts, menstrual disorders, uterine polyps and fibroids. His other strength is operative hysteroscopy for uterine polyps, sub-mucous fibroids, uterine septum and endometrial ablations.
He continuously audits his clinical performances to make sure excellent care is delivered to all his patients.
