About me

I have been working as a Clinical Psychologist in the NHS for the past 14 years. I work with people who have a wide range of difficulties using a number of approaches to aid change and recovery. I offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), and systemic therapy. My main focus is to understand what it is you are struggling with, and together work out ways in which you might look after yourself. I have a special interest in working with people who have suffered traumas whether these are in their adult life, or go back to childhood experiences. I have a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, a Postgraduate Certificate in CBT for Psychological Trauma, and have completed Part 3 of EMDR training. I work part time in the NHS in a community mental health team, and have previously worked in a specialist trauma service in central London.
