About me

Until April 2015 I was a Consultant at Whipps Cross University Hospital which is now part of BartsHealth.

I have concentrated my practice on treating problems of the upper limb so I see patients with problems anywhere from the clavicle (collar bone) to the finger tips

At the shoulder I deal with acromio-clavicular joint pain, impingement and rotator cuff problems.

Around the elbow, I treat tennis and golfer's elbow, and ulnar neuritis.

At the wrist I see patients with ganglions, scaphoid fractures and carpal tunnel syndrome.

In the hand I treat trigger finger and thumb, de Quervains tenovaginitis and fractures of the hand bones. I have a particular interest in Dupuytren's disease (Dupuytren's contracture), and am one of the few surgeons in London regularly performing needle release in the out-patient clinic. This is also known as Needle Aponevrotomy or NA, Needle Aponeurotomy or Percutaneous Needle Fasciotomy (PNF).

I have served on the national faculty for the AO Hand Fracture fixation courses. I have been a lecturer on the European Acumed Upper Limb Fracture Fixation course.
I a member of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand audit committee.
