About me

David Leinhardt graduated from the Manchester Univesity Medical School in 1982 and has had extensive training and experience in General Surgery and Laparoscopic/Endoscopic Surgery in the North West of England. He was appointed Consultant General Surgeon at Harrogate District Hospital in 1995 and has been treating patients at the Duchy BMI Hospital since he was appointed.

He has published papers the metabolic response to sepsis and minimally invasive surgery. He is lead clinicial for Colorectal Cancer at Harrogate and is honourary senior lecturer at The University of Leeds. His previous roles have included Clinical Director of Surgery and Director of Planned Surgery at Harrogate District Hospital.
