About me

Maria is a 2009 graduate of University College of Osteopathy (UCO) formerly known as the British School of Osteopathy. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

She did her postgraduate paediatric specialty at the Osteopathic Centre for Children and is a clinical tutor for postgraduate osteopaths in paediatrics at the UCO.

In 2018 she received a distinction for her MSc in Medical Anthropology at UCL. Her anthropological interest is in infant tongue-tie and breastfeeding. Currently doing a PhD in Medical Anthropology looking at tongue-tie and breastfeeding.

Areas of interest

Pregnant women; postpartum women; infant feeding; treatment of babies and children; back pain; infant feeding.
