About me

Mr John Budd was appointed as a consultant General and Vascular surgeon at the Royal United Hospital in Bath in 1993. He retired from his major Vascular surgical practice in 2016 and now has an extensive practice based around the treatment of varicose veins and hernias. He specialises in walk-in-walk-out groin and abdominal hernia surgery under local anaesthetic performing over 300 cases per year. He undertakes charity missions to various African countries each year with Operation Hernia to perform and teach hernia surgery. He has also developed a comprehensive practice in the endovascular treatment of varicose veins.
