Mr Park provides a comprehensive service in the generality of Orthopaedic and Trauma surgery and has a sub-specialty interest in surgery of the Foot and Ankle.
He qualified in Medicine from the University of Auckland, New Zealand in 2000. He completed Basic Surgical Training at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, Essex. In 2006 he was selected for Higher Specialist Training in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery on the Royal Free & Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore rotation.
Mr Park undertook further sub-specialist training in foot and ankle surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore in 2012, and the Surrey Fellowship at Frimley Park and the Royal Surrey County Hospitals in 2011. He also underwent Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Trauma surgery at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton in 2013.
He manages the entire spectrum of conditions affecting the foot and ankle including:
Forefoot problems e.g. bunions
Nerve disorders e.g. Morton's neuroma, nerve entrapment syndromes
Arthritic conditions and its associated surgical treatment from arthroscopy to arthrodesis (fusion) and arthroplasty.
Postural and tendon disorders
Management of the diabetic foot and ankle
Orthopaedic trauma involving the foot and ankle
Areas of interest
Mr Park has a special interest in the management of stubborn heel pain e.g. plantar fasciitis and Achilles problems.
He also deals with sports injuries affecting the foot and ankle, and manages the entire spectrum of foot and ankle conditions e.g. bunions, toe deformities, arthritis, tendon problems and diabetic feet.

Mr Park was appointed as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals in January 2014. The Trust merged with the Royal Free Hospital in July 2014 to form one of the largest NHS Foundation Trusts in the country.
Mr Park is involved in translational science research projects with the University of Surrey and Institute of Orthopaedics, UCL.
Mr Park lives with his wife and 2 boys in North London. He is a sports fan and particularly enjoys watching football and rugby. He has a passion for Malaysian food and collecting old maps.
Mr Park was awarded the British Orthopaedic Association European Travelling Fellowship in 2012, the British Orthopaedic Association Travelling Fellowship to India in 2013 and the AO Trauma Fellowship to Germany in 2013.
Mr Park has published 13 peer-reviewed papers on the subject of orthopaedic surgery in international scientific journals and has authored textbook chapters in orthopaedics including the European Surgical Orthopaedics and Traumatology Textbook. He is a reviewer for the Bone & Joint Journal and the Foot and Ankle Surgery Journal.
