I am an experienced clinical psychologist, practicing since 2000, working part-time in private practice and part-time in the NHS.
I have training and experience in working psychodynamically, as well as in using EMDR and cognitive-behavioural, compassion-focussed and mindfulness-based techniques. My eclectic training and experience allows me to meet individual need.
In my private practice, my focus is on working with people to make better sense of themselves and their difficulties with the goal of developing greater insight and healthy ways of coping. I have a particular interest in working with people who are suffering the effects of depression, anxiety and relationship difficulties, as well as with people who have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Complex PTSD stemming from experiences of childhood abuse and neglect.
