About me

I am the lead clinician for laparoscopy and hysteroscopy services at Bedford Hospital and a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 17 years experience.

I completed my advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery training in Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals and have since introduced the keyhole hysterectomy and operative hysterectomy techniques to Bedford and Manor BMI Hospitals.

I practice a holistic style of gynaecology and provide detailed and comprehensive information that empowers my patients to make an informed decision about their own particular circumstances

Areas of interest

I like to specialise in gynaecological cancers, advanced laparoscopic surgery, hysteroscopy and colposcopy, although I retain a broad range of fundamental gynaecology skills that include medical and surgical management of menstrual disorders, endometriosis, fibroids and pelvic pain.

I am very interested in medical education and frequently organise lectures, small groups and workshops for fellow peers / professionals

I have also published numerous articles in various medical journals.

Away from the office I am a keen swimmer and Tennis player and I enjoy spending time with my family.
