About me

How do you know that you need psychological support and that your issues are 'serious' enough to warrant professional help?

I'd generally say that when you feel out of sorts, not your usual self, sleeping badly, feeling anxious, angry, depressed, lacking enthusiasm and not behaving in the way you normally do perhaps, then seeking help from a therapist can be very helpful and valuable.

Perhaps you've tried self-help books and resources, talked to friends and family, and yet nothing has worked. You may not want to involve family or friends and it might feel better to discuss your situation with an independent person.

I will guide you through the work and help you find out what it is that troubles you. We will work on understanding and resolving these issues so that you can move forward and get on with your life.

Rather than listing all the variations of psychological disorders and problems that people seek help with, I think it is better to meet, talk and work out what kind of help you are looking for.

My approach is Psychodynamic, and I have post-graduate skills in and experience of CBT work.
