About me

Mr John Brookes trained at Cambridge University and St Bartholomew’s Hospital and qualified MA.MB.BChir in 1980. He was appointed Consultant ENT surgeon at Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust in 1990.

Mr Brookes did his general ENT (ear, nose and throat) training in Addenbrooke's Hospital Cambridge, St Bartholomew's Hospital, London and King's College Hospital London. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1986.

Mr Brookes did his head and neck surgical training in the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia.

Mr Brookes has twenty three year’s experience in general ENT practice, including, paediatric otolaryngology and head and neck surgery.

Areas of interest

Voice disorders; Head and neck surgery (oral-maxillo-facial); Snoring; Sinusitis; paediatric surgery including tonsilitis and glue ear.
