About me

Dr George Papasavvas is a Consultant Rheumatologist at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust. He graduated from the London Hospital Medical College in 1980 and he then trained in Rheumatology in London at the Middlesex, Royal London and King’s College Hospitals and was appointed to his current post in 1992. He has extensive experience in all aspects of adult general rheumatology and a specialist interest in osteoporosis. He was the lead clinician in Rheumatology from 2003 until 2006 and from 2014 until 2018. He has been lead investigator and co- investigator in clinical trials on rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus.

All types of arthritis and back pain, including inflammatory arthritis (eg rheumatoid, psoriatic, ankylosing spondylitis, reactive arthritis)
