About me

I have been a therapist for over 16 years, working for a number of different services, helping a wide variety of people. I worked as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, Counsellor and Supervisor for the NHS for many years.
I have previously worked as an alcohol and drugs counsellor, in offender rehabilitation and in insomnia management.
My therapeutic work is bound by the Code of Ethics of both the BACP and the BABCP. I offer both short-term and longer term therapy to people from all walks of life, who face a wide range of difficulties

I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and a BACP accredited Counsellor and Supervisor. I also offer Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing. No problem is too small or too big if it is affecting your ability to enjoy life. I work with people from all walks of life and a huge variety of issues including: bereavement and loss; anxiety; depression; low mood; confidence; self-esteem; physical illness and disability; mental health issues; family or relationship; decision-making; insomnia and sleep problems; sexuality issues; gender issues; eating and weight issues; stress; trauma; sexual abuse and rape; anger; addictions; work problems; any life change that is affecting you; post traumatic stress disorder; obsessive compulsive disorder; panic and agoraphobia.
