About me

I have worked for 9 years with clients in Primary Care and I am experienced in many areas of work and I am currently keen to expand my work with young people and students.I initially studied Lacanian Psychoanalysis in Bordeaux, France between 1994 and 2000.
I have trained in Interpersonal Psychotherapy to Supervisor level and use many parts of this 16 session programme for depression within my work. I work with clients to look for the main focal area of their depression, complex bereavement, role changes, interpersonal disputes or sensitivities and feelings being loneliness and then together we process their feelings and emotions and make a plan to move forwards.
I encourage autonomy and work with clients to empower them and develop hope for their future.
