- Short Term Psychodynamic Therapy
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). I abide by the BACP's Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I follow the psychodynamic approach. This involves us working together to uncover the less conscious aspects of your thoughts, feelings and emotions, so that you can come to understand yourself more fully. This greater insight should help you to make long-lasting changes so that you can lead a more fulfilled life.
I will provide you with a safe and confidential space to reflect on your emotional difficulties, uncover patterns of behaviour, address difficult feelings and move forward into meaningful change.
I have worked in the NHS for over 7 years in GP practices and I am currently Deputy Clinical Lead of a large Henley-based counselling agency. I have experience of working with a wide range of emotional difficulties. I work from a comfortable, wheelchair accessible therapy room which has plenty of nearby street parking within the Caversham area.
