About me

I am a member of the HCPC; BPS and BSCAH.
I enjoy diversity and have engaged in many aspects of being a counselling psychologist. I am a Co-ordinating Supervisor for Trainee Counselling Psychologists training via the British Psychological Society independent route. I am a chartered member of the BPS and Division of Counselling Psychology and am listed on the BPS Directory of Supervisors and Psychotherapy. I am also registered with the HCPC. In addition I am the lead for the network group for learning disabilities within the BPS and try to be as involved as I can be with the BPS.
I have produced, facilitated and co-facilitated training in various areas, including being a Guest Lecturer at the University of East London. I am a specialist practitioner in working with people with learning disabilities and carry out relevant psychometric testing as required; this is in addition to my private practice.

I am trained in hypnosis and have found that for some clients it facilitates quicker access to their core beliefs and thus assists them towards greater awareness and understanding of themselves. This connects well with Mindfulness practice.

I am also a Reiki II practitioner.
