Dr Gupta is a Consultant Anaesthetist with a specialist interest in Pain Management. His main work is within Private Hospitals like BMI and Aspen Health Care (Claremont) in Sheffield and Park Hill Hospital in Doncaster. Dr Gupta was trained in anaesthesia in Delhi, India, Ireland and the United Kingdom. He completed his FRCA in 2005 and became Consultant at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. He worked there as a consultant on substantive post for nearly 6 years before deciding to work in Independent sector. He developed an interest in pain as a sub-speciality interest and did one year's fellowship in Pain from world renowned Pain centre at Walton Centre, Liverpool 2009. Dr Gupta obtained his fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of Royal College of Anaesthetists in May 2010.

I developed Complex Region Pain Syndrome clinic in Sheffield. Developing various pathways to improve outcome.
I am now developing pathways to help and treat palliative care patients within NHS.
I started a pain network within South Yorkshire region to discuss and interact various pain specialists
