About me

Background:

Born in Dublin, Ireland, David moved to the UK in the late 60's. Leaving college, David joined the Royal Navy, serving upon commissioned submarines. On leaving, David went straight into business in the City of London, eventually becoming the Managing Director and a non-quoted Public company - a post he held for 13 years. Through experience, David gained a strong and empathic understanding of human performances and it limitations, especially in stressful demanding circumstances. Coaching those amongst us who become stuck, or in need of a more direct psychotherapeutic intervention, has become a professional speciality David has naturally developed into.

Let's work together:

David is available to provide private and confidential one-on-one Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and psychotherapeutic coaching sessions. These are conducted in discreet professional locations in Chester, Liverpool, Warrington and Manchester, or alternatively off-site at client's premises, upon request. Session times, in terms of duration and frequency, are tailored to fulfil your specific needs

So you're stuck:

We nearly all, at some stage in our lives, become hung up on a problem and could all benefit in having a candid, brief and non-judgemental conversation, with a trusted professional therapist. Does it really require you to book an appointment and come in to see me? No, it doesn't. Sometimes just a brief few minutes of Skype/phone coaching is enough to set a person up for the day or meeting ahead. To meet these client driven needs, David provides a remote coaching service whereby clients can speedily gain access to him directly, most days until 8pm. It's inexpensive, prearranged and user friendly.

At Work:
In his corporate life, David works as a freelance EAP consultant on-behalf-of employers and management consultancies, focused upon employee wellness in the workplace and in particular, stress management prevention. Life happens. It's estimated that at least a third of us will suffer from a depression or anxiety related diagnosable mental health issue at some time in our lives. Why suffer unnecessarily so when professional and confidential help is at hand.

In the NHS:

David currently accepts GP and NHS referrals from two North West based NHS Health Boards
