About me

Wayne Quamina is an ambitious and friendly physiotherapist fully registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC).

He graduated from St George’s University of London with a BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy in 2007 and from Queen Mary University of London in 2015 with a diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine. Wayne also has completed postgraduate education in acupuncture, which is used in the management of muscolosketel conditions. He has extensive experience working as a senior musculoskeletal therapist in the public sector and also working in Football, Rugby and Thai-boxing and has worked with clubs such as Millwall FC and Twickenham RFC.

Wayne has a very strong background in sports having been a professional Kick-boxer for over 12 years and practicing the sport for over 20 years. His sporting career has seen him win Southern Area title (WKMA), two British titles and a European title; he also thought for a world title in 2006 before he then retired from the sport to concentrate on physiotherapy.

Wayne sees great value in conducting a thorough analysis of his clients and feels that it is important for the client to fully understand their diagnosis in order to self-manage symptoms, as it is felt that this leads to better longer term outcomes.
