About me

Dr Leisa Freeman qualified in medicine in 1979. Undergraduate: University of Birmingham (UK);
Postgraduate: general medical training Barnet and University College Hospital London
Specialist cardiology: Charing Cross and The Heart Hospital in London
Leisa has been at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital since 1991 as a Cardiologist.
Clinical Director of Cardiology (NNUH) from 2005-11, she expanded the department to 12 consultants and introduced coronary angioplasty, the heart attack centre (PPCI), specialist pacemakers (ICD, CRT) and ablation treatment for rhythm disturbances. She is now Associate Medical Director NNUH, Member of DVLA Cardiovascular committee, Norfolk & Suffolk lead for Academic Health Science Network.
Honorary Senior Lecturer Norwich School of Medicine. Extensive medicolegal work - for MDU and other solicitors
