We also won an award for best Rehabilitation practice in 2016. Glenda D Roberts is a highly qualified experienced counsellor/psychotherapist who is Accredited by the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy for good practice.

Glenda is also an experienced supervisor for both Counselling/Psychotherapy and ABI.

She runs her own private practice as well as being the owner of exploringU counselling Ltd, where she runs and oversees the excellent delivery of the Centre of excellence which is based in Sudbury Suffolk.

We now have a second practice in Castle Hedingham, 3 King Street, Essex CO9 3ER which open 5 days a week.

We are also happy to work with you in a safe confidential environment from your home of residence.

Glenda comes from a business background having successfully run two companies in the past, thus creating something from nothing and nurturing it to grow. Glenda is particularly interested in the research and hands on side in helping people to grow and develop. She feels that counselling should also be brought to the forefront in people’s minds, for people not necessarily to visit a counsellor because something is wrong, but to also visit a counsellor to help you to reach those undiscovered layers within yourself, and help to explore different perspectives to enrich your life. This is why exploringU counselling was created. Glenda feels that in every person there are layers of the hidden self yet to be discovered and explored. She is passionate about helping others discover this for themselves and to positively affect many generations to come.

Glenda is particularly interested in couples-counselling, critical incidents, bereavement, trauma and the disabled. Although her broad experience means that she has many areas of interest, including working with Dissociation identity disorder (DID)

Glenda has limited availability and will always refer you to one of her accredited colleagues if she is unable to help you.
Glenda was voted best Psychotherapy and Brain Injury Practice UK by GHP and received best HealthCare Professional 2018 Award.

As well as being the Director of ExploringU she is also the CEO & Founder of The Just Talk Campaign, (Closed) Now JustTalk2019
Glenda is also her governing body The BACP media spokesperson.

Glenda works with Executives as well as High Profile clientele.

In 2019 Glenda and her team developed the first of it's kind, Service Shop and Counselling Café, you can read all about it here: https://issuu.com/ukcp-publications/docs/new_psychotherapist_summer2019, both the BACP and the UKCP have embraced the new concept of the service shop and Counselling Cafe as a new way of counselling.
