About me

Farrokh Pakzad joined the team team at Royal Surrey County Hospital in June 2012 as Consultant Oncoplastic Breast and Skin Cancer Surgeon. He completed his higher surgical training in London, during which he was selected onto the highly competitive National Oncoplastic Fellowship program. This unique background in both plastic and oncological surgery enables him to provide he most effective treatments for both breast and skin cancer, while minimising the impact of surgery on cosmetic and functional outcomes.

He is currently the clinical lead for the regional specialist cancer multidisciplinary team and the Alliance Skin Cancer Network.

His areas of clinical expertise include;
- the management of all aspect of benign and malignant breast disease
- breast disease in men
- oncoplastic breast conservation
- immediate and delayed breast reconstruction
- correction of breast asymmetry
- use of Intraoperative Sentinel Node Analysis using the OSNA system
- the management of skin cancers including melanoma
