    I offer Bupa customers standard cataract surgery on the Full Pathway package option at Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital-The Chesterfield .

    This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

About me

I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist with a sub-specialty interest in small incision cataract surgery, medical retina and inflammatory eye disease (uveitis). I carried out my training in Bristol and Cheltenham as well as visiting fellowships in New York and Washington.

I am the Severn Training Programme Director and Head of School. Further I am an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Bristol and the lead coordinator and teacher for the ophthalmology undergraduate teaching programme.

I currently am the lead for the medical retina service at the Bristol Eye Hospital. I am also an advisor for the ophthalmology content of the British National Formulary (BNF) and provide ophthalmology opinions for both the BNF and the children's BNF.

I have completed various post-graduate qualifications, is a fellow of the higher education academy and continues to be actively involved in teaching of ophthalmologists in addition to allied health professionals.
