About me

I was appointed as a Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist in 2012 at University Hospital Lewisham and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Woolwich where I am part of the head and neck multidisciplinary team and runs the corresponding thyroid team.

I treat all aspects of general and paediatric ENT conditions and have a specialist interest in voice disorders of all types including management and treatment of the professional voice. I also have an interest in thyroid, parathyroid and salivary gland surgery that mirrors my work in the NHS at Lewisham Hospital.

I graduated in 1998 from Guy’s Hospital, London and trained in Australia and the UK, completing my training in London. I was awarded a Medical Doctorate for advanced research into tongue cancers from University of Sussex in 2011 and received the Gold Medal for best research paper at the 2011 ENT Masterclass. I organise and teach on a number of educational courses and run the London ENT Courses.

I have published extensively including book chapters and invited articles and I am the national e-learning lead for laryngology (voice).
