I have trained in the North West of England in Endocrinology, Diabetes and General Medicine. I have had extensive experience in various fields of diabetes including diabetic foot, type 1 diabetes, diabetic complications. I also have experience in running weight management clinics. In the field of Endocrinology, I have worked in the centres of Excellence, Salford Royal Hospital as well as Manchester Royal Infirmary. I am experienced in managing thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal and pituitary disease as well as polycystic ovarian syndrome, Calcium and Vitamin D abnormalities.

Currently I am working as a Physician in Acute Medicine, Diabetes & Endocrinology at Tameside General Hospital.
I have done 2 years of research in the field of Diabetic Neuropathy with Professors Andrew Boulton and Rayaz Malik at Manchester Royal Infirmary/University of Manchester culminating into a degree of MD.
I am an honorary senior lecturer at the University of Manchester and am regularly involved in undergraduate teaching and training.
